Diana Wagman is the author of four novels and numerous short stories, essays and reviews. She is an occasional contributor to the L.A. Times. Her second novel, Spontaneous, won the 2001 USA PEN West Award for Fiction. She wrote the original screenplay for Delivering Milo directed by Nick Castle and starring Bridget Fonda and Albert Finney. Her next novel The Care and Feeding of Exotic Pets arrives in November.

Leslie Schwartz is the author of two award-winning, bestselling novels, Jumping the Green and Angels Crest. She is the recipient of the James Jones Society Award for Best First Novel, The Kalliope Woman Writer of the Year Award and the Algonquin Award for Public Service in the Arts. Angels Crest was translated into 13 languages. She established the writing program at Homeboy Industries and has taught writing in prisons and juvenile facilities throughout California.

Steve Abee began writing after high school when he held a job as an orderly at St. John's Hospital. He has written 3 books of short stories and poetry; Great Balls of Flowers, The Bus: Cosmic Ejaculations of the Daily Mind in Transit, King Planet and his first novel is Johnny Future
He lives with his family and teaches in Los Angeles.

Heather King is an ex-barfly, ex-lawyer, existentially tormented Catholic convert with three memoirs: Parched (the dark years); Redeemed (crawling toward the light); and Shirt of Flame (my year of wandering around Koreatown, L.A. "with" St. Therese of Lisieux, a cloistered 19th-c. French nun). Diedra Shawn Randolph is a singer, songwriter, actress, and generally expressive person. Born in Washington D.C., she began singing at the Mormon Church in Hurricane, Utah at 13 years old. Since then she has sung in many other locations, very few of them Mormon-related. She has lent her voice to a host of bands, soundtracks, and musical projects over the years and has composed nearly one hundred songs with writing/performing partner John Chase. They currently perform in the alt-rock group Holloh.
