The new CD, Ted & Pablo—Transcontinental Music Express, recorded in Brazil, includes many original compositions as well as references to the great composers of both countries such as Ernesto Nazareth and David Grisman.

Ted Falcon, an American, has dedicated himself to the study of the mandolin and choro, recording a Brazilian instrumental CD,
Memórias do Brasil, and writing a mandolin book, Retratos do Brasil. He is also one of the few innovators on the violin, an instrument rarely used in Brazilian popular music. He has performed with some of the biggest names of Brazilian instrumental music, including Hermeto Pascoal, Armandinho Macêdo and Hamilton de Holanda.

Pablo Fagundes, a Brazilian, fell in love with the blues, an American style that has many fans in Brazil. Today he works
to consolidate his instrument, the harmonica, in Brazilian music, developing research and giving lessons in the Escola de Choro Raphael
Rabello in Brasilia. He has performed regularly in Europe and the United States in the past few years. In 2012, he performed at the
International Festival of Harmonicas in France and with the Orquestra Sinfônica do Teatro Nacional de Brasilia. He performed the Concerton para Harmônica e Orquestra, by Heitor Villa Lobos. In Brazil, Pablo performs with Pé de Cerrado, a group dedicated to various styles of
Brazilian regional music, as well as with the Quarteto Camará, a group that explores Brazilian music, jazz and blues. He has also played with the Brazilian All Stars Blues band, opening for B.B. King, and at the Mandolin Symposium in California, playing with David Grisman and Mike Marshall.

Marcus Moraes studied guitar at the University of Brasilia. He has released 3 CD's with the Brazilian group, Marambaia, one CD of solo
classical guitar and various cd's recorded with various artists in Brazil. In the second part of 2012, he will release a new recording
by the rock instrumental group, Passo Largo, a new solo guitar CD and a duet CD with harmonica player, Pablo Fagundes. He has performed in France, Austria, Germany, Italia, Spain and Argentina.

George Lacerda, born in Brasilia, started his percussion studies inside the choro, samba and forró jam sessions where he was born. He graduated from the University of Brasilia in music education. He has played with some famous Brazilian musicians such as Elba Ramalho, Jair
Rodrigues e Hamilton de Holanda. Besides composing, recording and arranging music for television, theater and dance, he also teaches
percussion and singing.
