Theatre 360 offers classes and workshops in Pasadena

Theatre 360 announces upcoming Master Classes and Workshops for the Community! Take advantage of this unique opportunity to work with Broadway and New York theatre professionals. All kids ages 6 to 19 are welcome! Seussical: Broadway Master Class with Eddie Korbich Saturday, April 2nd from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm Ages 6 to 19 Curtain up! Learn original choreography from the Broadway production of Seussical from Broadway veteran Eddie Korbich and get feedback on your performance! This is a unique opportunity for students to develop their skills as they learn what it takes to be in a Broadway show. $40 if enrolled in Theatre 360 spring session class or $60 if not enrolled Eddie Korbich's Broadway credits include THE LITTLE MERMAID, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE (Drama Desk Nominee), AFTER THE NIGHT, WICKED, SEUSSICAL, CAROUSEL (Lincoln Center), SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, and SWEENEY TODD (Circle in the Square). Eddie received the 2000 Obie Award for his performance in TAKING A CHANCE ON LOVE at the York Theatre. Master Class: From Audition to Opening Night with Bixby Elliot Five Saturdays: April 9th, 16th, 30th, May 7th & 14th from 1:30 to 3:30 pm (except 5/7, class will be from 4 pm to 6pm) Ages 12 to 19 This 5-week workshop with New York based playwright, director and actor Bixby Elliot, takes the actor from the audition room to cold reading callbacks to in-depth scene work that brings students inside the world of the play. Participants will be asked to "audition" for a specific play using prepared monologues, then work on cold reading of sides from that play in callbacks and then prepare and work on scenes from the play-giving actors a full experience of booking a job to being brilliant on stage. $150 if enrolled in Theatre 360 spring session class or $250 if not enrolled A graduate of Columbia University's MFA program, Bixby Elliot has had plays produced in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, New Orleans and Edinburgh, Scotland. Bixby is a finalist for the Julliard Fellowship, recipient of the Howard Stein Fellowship and a Dean's Fellow at Columbia. He has taught at the illustrious Strasberg Acting Program as well as Syracuse University's Tepper Semester for Directors in NYC. Casting Workshop: LA Film & TV Casting Director Arlie Day Saturday, May 7th from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm Ages 8 to 19 A workshop where kids will get material, cold read and get individual feedback from a television casting director. Students will learn how to improve their on-camera auditions. Parents will have the opportunity to participate in a half-hour Q & A. $40 if enrolled in Theatre 360 spring session class or $60 if not enrolled Arlie Day started casting at NBC in 2005 under Damona Resnick. In January 2006, Ms. Day started on the pilot of "Brothers & Sisters" under Bacharach/O'Neill Casting and since its premiere has been working as an associate on "Brothers & Sisters" as well as numerous television pilots.
