Already proving to be a promising year for the songstress, Marianne Keith will grace us with her single “Meant To Be An Angel” to Hot AC radio February 8. The song, “Meant To Be An Angel,” is the first single from the singer’s sophomore collection, Cathartic, consisting of 15 soul-bearing tracks of a chronological tale uncovering the cathartic process of a love lost and self-found. The album is released on Unison Music and was produced by the indie label’s Grammy-nominated duo, Bruce Witkin and Ryan Dorn.
Earlier this month, Marianne performed at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel’s Indie Thursdays weekly showcase. The hotel’s show organizers were most impressed by Marianne’s set and offered the charming artist her own headlining two hour gig, slated for February.
Marianne also performed at the world’s largest music trade conference, NAMM, this past weekend in Anaheim, CA. For the third consecutive year, Martin Guitars asked Marianne to give an acoustic performance at their Song Check Live stage.
For the remainder of January and all of February, Marianne has landed a mini-residency at Hollywood's intimate hot spot, Piano Bar, every Thursday at 10 p.m. Marianne will perform tracks from her new album Cathartic, along with music from her debut album, Beautiful Distraction.
